I passed by on my bike right after this happened, right as the ambulance was coming down the street. It was really scary. I’m glad to hear she’ll be o.k. It looked really bad when she was lying face-down.
Did the dog die? If not, is someone taking care of him/her?
I drove by just after it happened and saw the woman too – face down in the street with another woman on a phone standing over her. Surreal. I helped look for the dog, too. (striped skirt, shell-shocked look on face, can’t whistle.) I hope it had tags, though any small dog running around the south side of hawthorne with a leash attached wouldn’t be mistaken as a stray, so that’s good. I’m glad the woman knew she wasn’t alone, and surely knew that lots of people were trying to help in many different ways.
That’s terrible. So scary. I’m glad to hear she’ll be okay.
Man, that really really sucks, please send her well wishes, and some for you as well, seeing something like that has got to be frightening.

I don’t know you, but (((hugs))) it must have been incredibly scary! I hope the lady is ok and they find her dog (s/he must be absolutely terrorfied).
