Chelsea’s Final

April 29th, 2008 · No Comments

Alright, I’ve finally finished the third sexy apron for Ms. Chelsea. The red is a lovely, very soft and slightly sheer red cotton and the print is from a vintage mumu. It’s got a really nice silky sheen and the colors are just fantastic!

Another truly unique apron. It is made of vintage embroidered linens for the skirt, ties and waist sections with a reproduction lightweight barkcloth fabric for the halter top. The palm print barkcloth has a fantastic nubby texture and really sets off the embroidery.

This is one of a kind, very sexy AND functional.

It’s a size large - xl full length apron, good coverage in the kitchen. The ties are extra long so they can tie in back or wrap all the around to the front.

bacon…the most delicious reason to have tight pants

March 21st, 2008 · 1 Comment

Yes folks, today was a double bacon day for me. Specifically, a double bacon morning. But it turned out to be fairly inspirational for this evening. Well bacon, and a few other things of course.

Natasha, your apron is done! I think I’ll make a few more and throw them in the shop while I’m at it. Hope you enjoy it!

Sorry, this one’s not for sale as it’s not my design. Thanks though!

Vintage Halloween Work Apron

January 25th, 2008 · No Comments

This is an excellent, light duty, tool belt. It’s a standard tool/work belt shape but made of a standard cotton fabric instead of twill or something heavier. Very good as a regular kitchen apron or a sewing/craft tool apron.

The fabric is a vintage halloween postcard print trimmed with a lovely cocoa brown pocket, waistband and tie.

It measures 21″ across the top, 24″ across the bottom, ties are each 14″, and it is 12″ tall. The cocoa pocket is 15″ across and the deep pocket goes all the way across the apron.

The ties on this one turned out sort of short. I’m thick waisted and it only has a few inches left at each end of the tie so I’d say it’s a medium.

I happily gift wrap!
